Mutation details: The CAG::KikGR transgene was designed with a CMV enhancer/chicken beta-actin promoter (CAGGS) promoter driving widespread expression of a Kikume Green-Red (KikGR) photoconvertible fluorescent protein (engineered from Favia favus), followed by a rabbit beta-globin polyadenylation site. Lines 33 and 75 were established. Mice from founder line 33 exhibit widespread expression of KikGR, while mice from founder line 75 exhibit widespread KikGR expression in a mosaic pattern allowing for analyzing cell morphology and determining cell behavior dynamics.
