Mutation details: A1.8 kb rat osteocalcin promoter fragment was used to direct expression of a truncated human cDNA encoding only the extracellular and transmembrane regions of the type II TGF-beta receptor. Eight of nine founders expressed the transgene. The four lines showing the highest expression levels were characterized.
