Mutation details: A fragment of Tlx2 from -3003 bp upstream of the translation start site was cloned into a vector containing a lacZ coding sequence resulting in fusion of the translation start site of Tlx2 with lacZ. This construct was used to generated transgenic mice by pronuclear injection. No line numbers were specified. Expression of lacZ begins at E8.5 and is not detected in extraembryonic tissues.
