Mutation details: The P25TCR transgenic mice contain a T-cell antigen receptor (TCR) that recognizes peptide 25 (aa 240-254) of Mycobacterium tuberculosis Antigen 85B bound to I-Ab under the control of the H-2Kb promoter. Specifically, two transgenes were created, each containing either cDNA encoding the Valpha5 or the Vbeta11 gene, and a polyadenylation (polyA) sequence. Line P25 was created.
