Mutation details: A 193 bp Gsg2 bidirectional promoter was placed between sequences encoding EGFP and DsRed1. The promoter was oriented so that DsRed was transcribed from the Gsg2 start site and EGFP was transcribed from the integrin alphaE site. This is the pBiPRO-1 construct. Seven founder lines were produced with 3-15 copies of the transgene but the lines were not distinguished from one another.
