Strain of Origin:  FVB/N
Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inducible, Recombinase, Reporter)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Pcp2-cre/ERT2,-ALPP)1Alj expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsA 3kb genomic fragment containing a truncated Pcp2 enhancer and gene drives cre/ERT2 followed by an IRES-ALPP (human placental alkaline phosphatase) sequence. The construct was injected into FVB/N oocytes and four founders were obtained. The line displaying the strongest expression in embryonic Purkinje cell (PC) clusters and adult medial-lateral PC stripes was chosen for further analysis. (J:152951)
