Mutation details: This transgene comprises a full length cDNA encoding mouse ADAM3 [a disintegrin and metallopeptidase domain 3 (cyritestin)] followed by a bovine globin polyadenylation signal and expressed under control of the testis specific promoter of the mouse calmegin gene. Western blot analysis demonstrated the presence of ADAM3 in both testis and sperm of homozygous Adam3tm1Ihig mice bearing this transgene.
