Mutation details: The chicken beta-actin promoter with the Rous sarcoma virus-long terminal repeat from the miw vector was used to drive ubiquitous expression of a fusion gene encoding the laminin alpha chain and first 2 laminin-type globular (LG) modules from Lama5 and LG modules 3-5 of human LAMA1. The line produced expresses the transgene at a higher level than in mice carrying Tg(CAG-Lama5*G2/LAMA1)1Jhm.
