Assay notes:	Analysis was performed in three mouse strain backgrounds (CD-1 or Swiss, C57BL/6 and 129/SvJ). The expression patterns were generally consistent across the three strains and data are shown for the CD-1 background. In situ analysis can not discriminate expression from the various Prl2c genes or isoforms, the data for all genes was summarized in the Figure as Prl2c and has been annotated for all four subtypes (Prl2c2-5).
