Assay notes: Although the antibody used in the assay recognizes all isoforms on Westerns, it does not bind to the GAD65 isoform in immunohistochemical studies under the conditions used in this study. Based on other experiments presented in this paper, most of the expression seen during embryonic stages is due to GAD25 and GAD44 immunoreactivity; only adult GAD67 is expressed beyond P7.
