Mutation details: The mouse Mt1 minimal promoter was used to drive expression of a human STC1 construct made up of a genomic fragment containing 93bp of the 5' UTR, exon 1, intron 1, exon 2, and intron 2. This was fused to a human cDNA containing exon 3 and 573 bp of exon 4. The remainder of the construct was made up of 800 bp from the 3' UTR of the human GH gene. Line 2 contains approximately 24 copies of the transgene.
