Assay notes: The goal of these experiments was to examine expression levels between siblings, so each point is the mean of independent RT-PCR assays for multiple siblings. The genotype of these animals is uncertain because heterozygotes are indistinguishable from wild type, and homozygous mutants cannot definitively be diagnosed until three weeks after birth.
