Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion   Mutation details: A sequence fragment extending from within exon 3 through the coding region of exon 5 was replaced with a neomycin selection cassette inserted by homologous recombination. The deleted region encoded 25 residues of the immunoglobulin-like domain and the transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains. Transcript was undetected in homozygous mutant mice by RT-PCR analysis of LPS-stimulated bone marrow-derived dendritic cells. (J:75700)
