Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion   Mutation details: A 5.7 kb genomic fragment encompassing exons 4 through 11 was replaced with a PGK-neo cassette inserted by homologous recombination. The deleted region corresponds with nt 445 through 1172 of the cDNA. Absence of the normal protein in homozygous mutant mice was indicated by flow cytometric analysis of spleen and peritoneal exudate cells. (J:71097)
