Founder TH5 is representative of a group of transgenic lines (TH5, TH35, and TH61) that survive to adulthood but exhibit small size, apathy, poor coat, and crumpled skin. Founder TH61 manifests the phenotype later in life, after approximately 2-3 weeks. All trangenic lines contain at least 2 copies of the transgene.
