TS17: 1st branchial arch Present Regionally restricted 1C In the first arch, Gsc is restricted to the caudal (aboral) mesenchyme.
TS17: 2nd branchial arch Present 1C , 1H Gsc is expressed at a distance from the Fgf-8 expression domain, and does not overlap with the Lhx-7 expression domain.
TS17: branchial arch Strong Regionally restricted 1H Gsc expression was associated with the mesenchyme around the pharyngeal pouches. The highest level of expression was found at the junction between the 1st and 2nd branchial arch in the region that will go on to form the auditory meatus.
