Reference: J:15281 Moens CB, et al., Defects in heart and lung development in compound heterozygotes for two different targeted mutations at the N-myc locus. Development. 1993 Oct;119(2):485-99
Assay type: RNA in situ
MGI Accession ID: MGI:1276358
Gene symbol: Myc
Gene name: myelocytomatosis oncogene
Probe: c-myc probe1
Probe preparation: labelled with S35 RNA
Visualized with: Autoradiography
Assay notes: The probe was used at 1x10<5> disintegrations/minute per 1 ul of hybridization solution. Slides were exposed for 14 days.
Results
Specimen 6D: embryonic day 12.5 (more )
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS20: left lung mesenchyme Present 6D c-myc was present in lung mesenchyme.
TS20: right lung mesenchyme Present 6D c-myc was present in lung mesenchyme.

Specimen 9E,9H: embryonic day 12.5 (more )
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS20: atrioventricular endocardial cushion Weak Regionally restricted 9J , 9E c-myc is largely restricted to cells adjacent to the outside of the compact layer, and to isolated cells or clusters of cells adjacent to and on the inside of the compact layer. c-myc was also observed in endothelial cells lining the endocardial cushion.
