Abstract:
Full text of MNL contribution: Notes on mutants: 4) "Grizzle-belly" - a new dominant mutant from untreaated non-agouti female (a a bt bt Miwh/+) not showing the mutant herself. To date she has produced 6 grizzle-belly and 7 normal by 2 males aa wa-2 wa-2 (not related to her). Grizzle-belly sons outcrossed to unrelated aeae females have given 13 grizzle-belly: 16 normal. Suggested symbol Gb. Easy to classify. Interacts with Miwh/+ to give white coronal area (as well as the grizzle belly). (Schaible).
