Full text of Abstract: D 17. Polyeystic alterations in the white matter of the brain of the "jittery" mouse. Pinckney Jones HARMAN, Department of Anatomy, New York University College of Medicine, and The Jackson Memorial Laboratory. Brains from mice showing the behavior mutation Òjittery" were kindly provided from the stocks of Dr. G.D. Snell, Jackson Memorial Laboratory, Bar Harbor, Maine. Although the genetics and symptomatology of this mutation are established, the present demonstration is believed to provide the first positive evidence for the morphological basis of this anomaly. Representative levels of the brains of these mice, together with normal controls, will be displayed.
