Abstract:
Full text of MNL contribution: 3, Cloud-gray, named cg in MNL 47*, is probably an allele of Sl and is hereby renamed Sl<cg>. Animals heterozygous for both cloud-gray and either Sl or one of our Steeloid (Sld) translocations (see Research Notes / I , below) are off-white with black eyes and dark ears. On crossing to +/+, such animals have to date produced no wild-types in 98 offspring, -- About one-third of all Sl<cg>/Sl<cg> females have imperforate vagina. In one carefully checked group of 53 homozygous females, there were 17 with this defect; while only 1 imperforate vagina was seen in 66 heterozygous females checked at the same time.
