Abstract:
Full text of MNL contribution: Linkage Data: Roan, Rn, which strongly resembles Fkl, is located in about the same place in Lg III. Recombination percentages from female heterozygotcs in a 3-point backcross with s and hr are; hr - s, 23.29 +/- 3.19%; s - Rn, 7.39 +/- 1.97%; hr - Rn, 30.68 +/- 3.48%. Rn and Fkl may therefore be alleles. If so, the above results show s closer to Rn and further from hr than in previously reported crosses (Lyon and Glenister 1970, MNL 42: 28; Kidwell et a1. 1966, J.
