Abstract:
Full text of MNL contribution: 3. A 3-point mixed cross of Hd and Miwh with Motheaten (me) in Chr 6 showed the order to be Hd, Miwh, me. Recombination between Miwh and me was 25.4 +/- 11.6% (N=44) in males, and 17.3 +/- 4.9% (N=178) in females, giving a joint estimate of 19.1 +/- 4.7%. Recombination between He and Miwh from this and other coupling backcrosses was 25/185 = 13.5 +/- 2.5% in males, 47/261 = 18.0 +/- 2.4% in females, giving a joint estimate of 16.1 +/- 1.7%. (M.C.
