Full text of MNL contribution: Changes of symbol: a) Slate, slt, is allelic with beige, bg. Slate (slt slt) mice, kindly supplied by Dr. Herman Chase, were crossed with bgbg, and all 26 offspring had light eyes at birth and diluted coats indistinguishable in colour from those of beige homozygotes.
