Mutation
description
Allele Type: Targeted (Reporter)
Mutation: Insertion
A targeting construct with the SA-attB-PGKneo 4xpA-attP-lacZ-pA cassette, in which the STOP fragment is flanked by attB and attP sites (phi31 recognition sites), was inserted into the Gt(ROSA)26Sor. Expression of the lacZ gene is blocked by a attB and attP site flanked STOP fragment placed between the lacZ sequence and the Gt(ROSA)26Sor promoter. PhiC31o-mediated recombination will excise the STOP and allow lacZ transcription. (J:128069)
