Transgene
description
Transgene Type: Transgenic (random, expressed)
Mutation: Insertion
The E1-T147 transgene was designed with a 4.3 kb rat elastase 1 (Ela1 or E1) gene upstream control region, LTR stabilizer, and SV40 late 16S splice site all upstream of the simian virus 40 large T antigen (TAg) coding sequence for amino acids 1-147 (with stop codon introduced at amino acid 148) and polyA sequence. The T1-147 transgenic mice (founder line 289) mice were established. (J:78026)
