Synonyms: TgHSNCGtm1VLB
Gene: Sncg   Location: Chr14:35183460-35187975 bp, - strand    Genetic Position: Chr14, 12.5 cM, cytoband B-C
Mutation
origin
Germline Transmission: Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:86439
Parent Cell Line: E14TG2a (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin: 129P2/OlaHsd
Mutation
description
Allele Type: Targeted (knock-out)
Mutation: Disruption caused by insertion of vector
Exons 1 through 3 were replaced with a neomycin selection cassette inserted by homologous recombination. Transcript was undetected in homozygous mutant mice by Northern blot analysis of RNA obtained from various tissues. Western blot analysis of total spinal cord protein indicated an absence of protein in homozygous mutant mice. (J:86439)
