Tg(Crh-cre)KN282Gsat - Nervous System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Tg(Crh-cre)KN282Gsat
transgene insertion KN282, GENSAT Project at Rockefeller University
Driver: Crh
Type: Transgenic (Recombinase)
Synonym: Founder Line KN282, Tg(Crh-cre)282Gsat
Molecular description: This transgene contains the coding sequence for Cre recombinase, followed by a polyadenylation signal to terminate the fusion transcript immediately after the recombinase gene, inserted into the mouse genomic bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) RP24-239F10 at the ATG transcription initiation codon of the corticotropin releasing hormone gene so that expression of the recombinase is driven by the regulatory sequences of the mouse gene.
