Tg(Cnnm2-cre)KD18Gsat - Nervous System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Tg(Cnnm2-cre)KD18Gsat
transgene insertion KD18, GENSAT Project at Rockefeller University
Driver: Cnnm2
Type: Transgenic (Recombinase)
Synonym: Founder Line KD18, Tg(Cnnm2-cre)18Gsat
Molecular description: This transgene contains the coding sequence for Cre recombinase, followed by a polyadenylation signal to terminate the fusion transcript immediately after the recombinase gene, inserted into the mouse genomic bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) RP24-190K9 at the ATG transcription initiation codon of the cyclin M2 gene so that expression of the recombinase is driven by the regulatory sequences of the mouse gene.
