Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Hcn4tm1(cre/ERT2)Anlu
hyperpolarization-activated, cyclic nucleotide-gated K+ 4; targeted mutation 1, Andreas Ludwig
Driver: Hcn4
Type: Targeted (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer: induced by tamoxifen
Synonym: HCN4-KiT, HCN4KiT-Cre, Hcn4tm1(cre/ESR1)Anlu
Molecular description: A cre/ERT2 fusion gene and a neo cassette were inserted into exon 1 downstream of the translation initiation codon. Expression is tamoxifen inducible and localized to the superior vena cava in the proximity of the right atrial appendage and the aorta, specifically in the sinoatrial and atrioventricular nodes.
