Molecular description: The transgenic construct encodes a tamoxifen inducible fusion protein consisting of cre recombinase and a mutated human estrogen receptor ligand binding domain fused to the mouse Tek promoter and 10.5 kb of the first intron. Transgene expression in endothelial cells of the liver and kidney was confirmed by immunohistochemical analysis.
