Young post-wean homozygous mutant mice have intermittent hind-limb spasms and curling of the front and/or hind digits. Hind limbs of older mice are clasped to the body, but sometimes go flaccid. When lifted by the tail, mice clasp their hind limbs. The hind limb flexor reflex is brisk.
