Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(H2-K-Hmga1)#Lmsr expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe murine Hmga1 coding sequence is under the control of the murine H2-K promoter and immunoglobulin mu intronic enhancer which drive expression in B and T cells. Western blot analysis confirmed increased protein levels of Hmga1 in splenocytes. Seven lines were generated and the pound symbol (#) is used because line numbers are not specified although the line with 20 copies of the transgene is used most often. (J:90252)
