Mutation details: The RPCI24-6817 bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) was modified by introduction of a cre-recombinase gene within the first exon of the activation-induced cytidine deaminase (Aicda) gene. This 190 kb BAC transgene contains the modified AID-Cre gene, as well as Dpp3, Gdf3, Apobec, and Mfap5. This transgene was microinjected into the pronuclei of fertilized FVB/NCrl oocytes. A single founder was used to establish the line.
