Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Eno2-EGFP/cre)25kb2Ngc expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe transgene consists of a 25 Kb fragment from BAC 284H12, that contains mouse Eno2 driving neural-specific expression of an IRES-EGFP-cre cassette, which was inserted into the last exon of the locus. Two lines were created with neural cre expression in different subsets of neurons. This line contains 5 copies of the transgene and is expressed in most basket cells, stellae cells, Purkinjie cells and neurons of the deep cerebellar nuclei but few granule cells and Golgi cells in the granule layer (J:133505)
