Notes

Bright fluorescence is observed in the cell bodies and processes of unfixed or fixed astrocyte preparations throughout the CNS of hemizygous mice. In addition retinal Mullers cells expressed the GFP transgene in response to degeneration of neighboring photoreceptors.
