  In a cross involving 3H1 females mated to X/YSxr males it was shown that TaqI fragments representing the DXYh1 locus segregated with the Sxr region on the X and Y Chromosomes, futhermore Southern analysis indicated that a recombination had placed DXYh1 on an intact X Chromosome. These data indictated that DXYh1 maps within the pseudoautsomal (PAR) region of the mouse X and Y Chromosomes. Sxr is commonly referred to as Tp(Y)1ct.
