  • Experiment
NZM2410 mice originate from an (NZB x NZW) cross. In order to construct congenic strains of mice which contain selected Sle loci, the authors backcrossed NZM2410 mice to C57BL/6J mice six succesive times, screening progeny with PCR or SSR markers for specific genomic intrevals. Once each congenic line was constructed, the authors sought to further define the congenic intervals of each line. To this end the authors typed B6.NZMc7 mice and determined the following order of markers on mouse Chromosome 7: D7Mit56 - Ckm - D7Mit114 - D7Nds5 - D7Mit81 - p - D7Mit145 - D7Mit70 - D7Mit159 - D7Mit30 - D7Mit31 - D7Mit37.
