  Physical mapping using mouse YACs and fragmentation derivatives indicated that Kcnj6 and D16Mit53 were contained within the same YACs. In addition, the analysis of overlapping YACs was used to support the genetic data showing that Kcnj6 mapped distal to Cbr on mouse Chromosome 16.
