Notes
  • Experiment
From a total of 1009 progeny derived from a Ta Sxr/Y x (C3H/HeH x 101/H)F1 mating four sex-reversed (the Sxr region is designated as Tp(Y)1Ct)XY females were generated. Breeding lines were established from two of these sex-reversed females and designatedY(d5) and Y(d6) and in these lines it was determined that Yp was intact and that recombination had occurred between Yp and the Sxr region. In addition, the analysis of Yp-Sxr recombination in 197 males was undertaken indicating an order of Zfy1 - Jarid1d - Zfy2 - Sry - Rbm1 - Centromere on the short arm of the Y Chromosome.
