  Authors use P450-3 for locus symbol Cyp1a2. Authors provide evidence that demonstrates that Idd2 is not the product of Thy1.
• Experiment
  During the construction of a congenic strain in which NON/Lt alleles were transfered to NOD/Lt a recombination between Idd2 and Thy1 may have occurred. Southern analysis did in fact demonstrate that the congenic line in backcross generation 5 exhibited arecombinant chromosome.
