Notes
  • Experiment
Sets of induced lung carcinomas from (C57BL/6J x C3H/HeJ)F1 and (A/J x C3H/HeJ)F1 mice were analyzed for loss of heterozygosity (LOH). The analysis indicated that a region of mouse Chromosome 4 may include a candidate for a tumor suppressor gene. This region is bounded proximally by Ifa and distally by D4Nds2. Authors suggested that the gene involved may be the mouse homologue of MTS1 which maps to 9p in humans.
