Notes
  • Reference
Authors stated they found a functional allele of Sts in the pseudoautosomal region of the Y Chromosome. There were no double recombinations in linkage analysis between Sts and Tp(Y)1Ct with Tdy.
  • Experiment
Tp(Y)1Ct is commonly called Sxr. Mice carrying the Sxr mutation were backcrossed onto a 129/Sv inbred. At the third generation, the XYSxr genotype were mated to the C3H/An. Data from the cross also indicates that Sts and Sxr were transferred in tandem from the pseudoautosomal region of the Y Chromosome.
