Notes
  • Reference
The authors use DXHX393h and DXHXF34h for locus symbols DXHXS393 and DXHXF34 respectively.
  • Experiment
Linkage data derived from the cross (C3H/HeH x 101/H)F1 x M. spretus x (C3H/HeH x 101/H)F1 indicated that DXHXS393 is located between Dmd and Plp1 on Chromosome X. Further analysis of 18 recombinant progeny from this cross showed that eight of the recombination events occurred between Dmd and DXHXS393, two between DXHXS393 and Xist, and eight between Xist and Plp. Therefore, the order of loci and approximate cM distances is: Dmd - 7.7 +/- 2.6 - DXHXS393 - 1.9 +/- 1.3 - Xist - 7.5 +/- 2.5 - Plp1 (104 offspring scored for both Dmd and Xist; 107 offspring scored for both Xist and Plp1).
