Notes
  • Experiment
In an F2 population from a cross between an incipient congenic C57BL/6J-Socs2hg/Socs2hg (N5-N6) and MEV, linkage was determined between Socs2 and on Chromosome 10. In 163 animals the recombination frequency between Socs2 and Kitl ranged from 0.092 +/- 0.04 to 0.0131 +/- 0.05. Also, in an experiment utilizing the same incipient congenic, the F2 population from a cross of C57BL/6J-Socs2hg/Socs2hg (N5-N6) and BUB/BnJ, indicated linkage between Socs2 and Igf1 on Chromosome 10. In 40 animals the recombination frequency between Socs2 and Igf1 was 0.05 +/- 0.04.
