  Complementation studies using radiation induced deletions at the albino locus indicate that the autosomal recessive gene Rab38 maps distal to c within the Emv23 - Mod2 interval and most likely is just proximal to jdf. Gene Rab38 mapped within the region that is deleted in mutants c^26DVT, c^68G, c^16HATh, c<10R75M, c^3YPSd and c^51DTD and complemented deletions c^LA, c^7THO-11, c^31HATh and c^1FATw.
