• Experiment
  Further localization of nu on Chromosome 11 was done by analyzing DNA samples of 113 BALB/c.nu congenics that were N2 to N10, along with 22 animals from a brother x sister mating (nu/+ x nu/+). The samples that showed recombination between Mov9, Evi2, and Foxn1^nu were then further analyzed for the marker D11Nds1. A gene order of Mov9, Evi2, Foxn1^nu and Ccl1 was obtained with a recombination distance between Evi2 and Foxn1^nu of 2.2 cM +/- 1.3 cM.
