    25 RI strains showed identical strain distribution for Mup-1 isozyme and when EcoRI or HindIII digested DNA was probed with a Mup cDna probe.
  • Experiment
    Somatic cell hybrids were from fusion of Chinese hamster cells and BALB/c mouse spleen cells. The mouse component of hybrid cells was determined by both isozyme and karyotype analysis except for chromosomes 3, 13 and 15 whose presence was determined soley by karyotype.
