Notes
  • Experiment
A single locus, Ifnm, responsible for defective IL-12 response in C57BL/10ScCr mice mapped to mouse Chromosome 6 in tight linkage with D6Mit356 (LOD = 14.3) and colocalizes with Il12rb2. A (C57BL/10ScCr x 129S2/SvPas)F1 x C57BL/10ScCr backcross was used inthe mapping study. Progenitor strain C57BL/10ScCr is IL-12 defective and is derived from the IL-12 responsive C57BL/10NCr strain. Progenitor strain 129S2/SvPas is IL-12 responsive.
