    The authors mapped (by Simple Sequence Length Polymorphisms) the range of the Ph deletion on mouse Chromosome 5. Analysis of progeny from a C3HeB/FeJ-W19H x CAST/Ei intercross indicated that the deletion was quite limiyed, containing only D5Mit201 and D5Mit235. Based on previous mapping determinations in this reference, Clock is said to be distal to this deletion.
