  YAC, BAC an P1 clones were assembled in a contig covering a region of distal mouse Chromosome 7. The following order of loci was reported: Nap1l4 - Ttsc3 - Cdkn1c - Kcnq1 - Cd81 - Mash2 - Ins2 - Igf2as - Igf2 - H19 - Mrpl23 - Nttp1. Kcnq1, Cd81, Igf2as and Mrpl23 are orientated in one direction: Nap1l4, Tssc3, Cdkn1c, Ascl2, Ins2, Igf2 and H19 are transcribed in the opposite direction. No transcriptional direction for the Nttp1 locus is indicated.
